Why you won't see Republican Perspective Column in the Rossmoor News for a while

Well, this is upsetting!


The Rossmoor News has made a decision to put all political columns on hold for the foreseeable future.

This affects our own Republican Perspective.  So why is this happening? Read on!



Rossmoor News’ political columns go on hiatus


Starting with the Feb. 1 edition of the Rossmoor News, the political columns will go on hiatus and a decision about their future will go before the GRF Policy Committee at its Feb. 13 meeting.


GRF President Dwight Walker suggested putting the columns on hiatus after Ann Peterson, the Rossmoor News’ managing editor, raised concerns about the time commitment required to keep them going under the current News editorial policy."

While we are obviously not happy about this we understand why this is happening and look forward to its resolution and seeing  Republican Perspective back in print very soon.

The GRF Policy Committee reluctantly consented to allowing the four political columns including the Republican Perspective and the Democratic Progressive View to appear on a trial basis.
